Our Darter Chorus was chosen once again to sing in Disney’s Candlelight Processional at Epcot. Our students not only get to sing but have the privilege of being an “Honor Choir.” Being an Honor Choir means that Darter Chorus is one of the top 26 Chorus Programs in the surrounding area and provide a high-quality performance for Disney each night!
We have been invited to sing 3 nights at Epcot with a professional orchestra, the Voices of Liberty, celebrity narrators and top of the line conductors. This is a huge honor for AHS and the Darter Chorus. We audition for Honor Choir every year, and the students this year worked extremely hard to prepare their audition.
If you would like to come out and support us, our performance schedule is below. You will need admission into Epcot. The show is at the American Garden Theatre in “America” and the line is usually backed up into “Italy”.
You can also purchase a Disney Dining Package for Candlelight which provides you dinner in one of the countries and guaranteed, preferred seating for the show, but you will still need general admission into the park.
