April 12,2019 — Viahya Burnett (10) is motivated by her parents to do better in school. Because of that she never gives up and always strives for good grades.

Viahya is very hard-working, and upbeat, doesn’t like to fail or lose, and always does her best. “What motivates me is my family. Even though I motivate my own self I feel as though they give me a push to do better.” Her family is the reason she’s so hard-working in school and why she always gets her work done. They don’t let her slack off at all.

Her parents are very supportive of her and that helps her stay passionate and focused. “I think I’m most passionate about going to school and trying to do well.” It’s really difficult for most to stay passionate about school or for people to stay on task but she does it really well. It can be used as inspiration to other students that struggle in hopes that they’d find it easier to stay focused in school.

Sometimes her favorite childhood memory can be used as her motivation. “My favorite childhood memory is when I moved with my dad, we watched the fireworks on the 4th of July.” A time when she was young ended up getting stuck in her head forever in a very positive way. Now whenever she needs to find motivation she can find it a lot easier.

Sometimes when things get rough your father can be a good motivation. “My papa he motivates me to stay on top of my work even though it may be difficult.” Whenever she fails and gets sad she can always think of her father or go to her father for help and it’ll always be good for her. Her father would always be willing to help her. She works hard to make her father proud.
