Part o the OCPS Exceptional Education Department, OCPS’ Gifted Education Program serves Gifted learners in OCPS schools.

Florida Association for the Gifted (FLAG)
State organization for teachers and parents that advocates for the needs of gifted learners.

Working on Gifted Issues (WOGI)
Encourages Florida’s public schools to implement exemplary programs which challenge gifted students. Provides resources to teachers.

Stetson University’s HATS (High Achieving Talented Students) Program
Summer and weekend programs for gifted and high-ability learners in the central Florida area.

Florida Department of Education- Gifted Student Education
FLDOE site listing state laws, regulations, publications, and resources related to gifted education.

National Association for Gifted Children (NAGC)
National organization for teachers and parents that advocates for the needs of gifted learners.

Supporting Emotional Needs of the Gifted (SENG)
SENG seeks to inform and provide resources to families and professionals about the unique social and emotional needs of gifted persons.

Florida Gifted Network (formerly PALS)
A parent organization that educates the public on the needs of gifted learners and advocates for issues that affect their rights.

Neag Center for Gifted Education and Talent Development
National center for research on the educational needs of gifted and high-ability learners.

The Association for the Gifted (TAG) – Council for Exceptional Education (CEC)
Promotes the welfare and education of children and youth with gifts, talents, and/or high potential.

The Davidson Institute: Young Scholars Program
The Davidson Young Scholars Program provides services designed to nurture and support profoundly gifted young people.
