Mexico Earthquake

 On September 19 at 2:14 p.m. Eastern Time, the US Geological Survey reported a 7.1 magnitude earthquake in Mexico City.

Students have family that live in Mexico that felt the earthquake.

Erick Martinez said that he was called by his mom and was told that his family had not been in the earthquake but felt it because they lived very close to it. Some pots had fell of shelves and other things broke but nothing major happened to there house. 

The total death total is now at 273 and it is still rising as they are still finding people under buildings. At least 21 kids and five adults have died when an elementary school collapsed.
