The new update was designed to separate personal content from professional. The snaps and stories of your friend’s followers are now one a completely different page from celebrities and businesses.

The new Snapchat has received negative feedback from its users, many complaining the new design is difficult to use and unnecessary.

The update has angered some so bad they’ve decided to uninstall the app and switch to other forms of social media.

The internet has expressed their collective dislike over the update though memes and test posts.

Many have also speculated that the Snapchat update came only after companies paid money to have their content separate from the public. The internet is calling Snapchat a sellout.

Regardless of whether or not you like the new Snapchat, the company has confirmed via Twitter that the update is here to stay.

“Updates as big as this one can take a little getting used to, but we hope the community will enjoy it once they settle in,” said Snapchat spokesperson.
