NHS Induction

On January 17, our National Honor Society inducted 45 new members.

The National Honor Society is a club that is sponsored by Ms. Ivette Acevedo-Ferrell.

NHS is based off of helping others and making a stronger community for the next generation.

Some of the new members had some things to say about joining.

“The reason I joined was to help me gain access to leadership also it is also very prestigious,” said junior Anish Das.

Das continued with “My plans for NHS is to have a good starting year as a junior and then achieve a representative position as a senior in NHS.”

Another student who had got inducted was  junior Joseph Mischuck. “I expect to gain skills in leadership and in service.” Mischuck goal for NHS is to help his community,” he said.

Senior Jacob Orlando is a returning member of NHS on the sports committee said “It’s been a privilege because selected students get in it.”

Orlando continued with “I am hoping the new members will stay on top of things.
