The third, fourth and fifth grade classes will be going on a field trip to the Bob Carr Performing Arts Center on Oct. 11th to see the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra. This concert if FREE – thanks to generous donations from United Arts, Disney, Publix and a number of other donors. Make sure to fill out your permission slip for your child and return it to their classroom teacher.
In preparation for this year concert, entitled Beyond the Screen, we will be learning about composers, their songs, and the instruments of the orchestra. We will be learning about composers such as Lin-Manuel Miranda, Leonard Bernstein, and Aaron Copland.
