In later May, President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un will have a meeting discussing the nuclear issue of North Korea. On the other hand, U.S was strongly suggesting that North Korea should stop nuclear testing and that is a tough request for a nuclear nation like North Korea. We all know that it won’t be easy for us to convince them to stop testing even if we agree to follow their conditions, but the thing that’s really shocking, is that North Korea was accepting to stop without any tough conditions that the U.S. cannot accept. One of them is to commit to a formal end of the Korean war and pledge not to attack them. This means that the U.S. has to prepare for a war with North Korea if the summit fails.

Still, Trump and Kim still have the meeting in May or even in June to tie their relationship and also give them a chance if they really want to start their first summit meeting with us since the Korean War. To prepare for the meeting, CIA agent Mike Pompeo visited Korea in a secret trip to lay the groundwork for the summit meeting and to consider where they should meet. President Trump had revealed a little bit about how the meeting is going to be after CIA Mike came back, that they will talk in an extremely high level and show the importance of this meeting.

North Korea made a promise that they will denuclearize after they reach their capacity needs. But we cannot truly trust them on whether they will really denuclearize, or if they break the promise they made for some reason. Japan also warns that in the past, they had made a similar promise, but North Korea doesn’t seem to take it as seriously as they promised. Many people also agree to attack North Korea instead collaborate with them, because they believe that North Korea will secretly develop their nuclear arsenal. From the White House, Trump had already made his decision to attack North Korea if any bad situation happens. However, Trump still strongly believes that the meeting will bring many good opportunities for the United States and so on. Trump also claims that he knows that they will agree, lest the US will attack them; that also gave North Korea the motivation to talk with us.

It’s a big victory for us even now. If the summit is successful, it can help make people feel safer with us, as well as many countries that are in range of the nuclear test. Until now, we haven’t seen any problems with the summit, but we cannot tell anything for sure. But we’re still looking for a successful meeting between two leaders.
