Bohemian Rhapsody Movie Review

Bohemian Rhapsody is a drama/biography movie based on the life of a band called Queen. Queen is a british rock band that started in 1970. The movie came out on November 2nd, 2018 and was one of the top seen movies in the month of November. The band consists of Freddie Mercury, Brian May, Roger Taylor, and John Deacon.

Freddie Mercury was a British singer-songwriter and  record producer, best known as the lead vocalist of Queen. He later died from AIDS at the age of 45 in 1991.

Brian May is an English musician, singer, songwriter, astrophysicist and photographer. He is best known as the lead guitarist.

Roger Taylor is an English musician, singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist, best known as the drummer.

John Deacon is an English retired musician, best known for being the bass guitarist for. He composed several songs for the group including Top 10 hits “You’re My Best Friend”, “Another One Bites the Dust”, “Back Chat”, and “I Want to Break Free”.

Bohemian Rhapsody is a foot-stomping celebration of Queen, their music and their extraordinary lead singer Freddie Mercury. Freddie defied stereotypes and shattered conventions to become one of the most beloved entertainers on the planet. The film goes through the life events of the band, their concerts, the creative and personal challenges and recounts some of their most known songs and revolutionary sounds. Some of the movie has a lot of interesting facts about the band members and the band as a whole. Some of these are that the band had split up multiple times for a short amount of time and that Freddie Mercury hid he had AIDS up until their last performance at Knebworth in August of 1986. The movie is centered on the rise of the band, and focuses on Freddie Mercury’s personal experiences before he joined the band and why he wanted to be in a band.
