In the second triple header of the season, the boys and girls bowling team lost to the University Cougars and East River Falcons.

Leading the girls team with 456 and 452 pins, senior Tykenia Chanthavong and junior Erin Dudley’s performance was not enough to beat East River’s 527 pin high series score and University’s 512 pin high series score.

Coming off last week’s overall win, the boys team set out to do it again, but fell short to East River in the final game by 50 pins. University won overall by 270 pins but lost the third game to Boone by 13 pins.

The teams will play at home game against Oak Ridge on Monday, Sept. 17 at 2:45 p.m. at Colonial Lanes.
