In the fifth home game of the season on Sept. 21, the girls’ volleyball team lost to the Olympia Titans in a close match up.
The team started off strong by claiming the first set 25-22. As the game progressed, the Braves lost the following three sets with close scores. The team lost the second set, 23-25, and the third set, 13-25. The lead volleyed back and fourth between the two teams in the fourth and final set, but the Braves underwent another lose, 22-25.
Delaney Arkeilpane, Caroline Jordan and Oakley Attaway are noted for outstanding efforts.
The team will play at home again, against Edgewater, on Sept. 26, at 7 p.m. in the Wayne Rickman Gymnasium.
