On March 13, the Braves baseball team took on Cypress Creek.

Junior Hayden Goldman started on the mound for the Braves and pitched 3 2-3 innings. The Braves struck first thanks to an RBI single by senior John Madden which made the score 1-0.

In the third inning the Braves scored again after a double by senior Ian McKinney putting him in scoring position and an RBI double by senior Brandon Rhea, making the score 2-0. Goldman hit the wall in the fourth though and allowed four runs until senior Brandon Grabhorn relieved him and got the last out ending the inning.

Rhea came in with another RBI to close the gap 3-4. Senior Omar Gonzalez, pitcher, came into the sixth inning to close out the game. The Braves were unable to get a run in the bottom of the seventh and lost 3-4.

The next home game is against Lake Brantley High School on March 20, at 4 p.m.
