Thursday night, the Lady Braves volleyball took on a strong Lake Highland Prepatory volleyball team in the Wayne Rickman Gymnasium.

The Lady Braves came out swinging in game one as senior Oakley Attaway led the team and got the first kill of the night. The first game ended with the Lady Braves on top 25-18 over Lake Highland.

Seniors Gretchen Chevalier and Lindsay Perrin led game two with multiple spikes throughout the game. After a hard fought game two, the Lady Braves fell to Lake Highland, 23-25.

In game three the Lady Braves bounced back and were able to pull out a victory, 25-17. Nicole Lakman led with many assists to help the Lady Brave prevail over Lake Highland.

Leading Lake Highland 2-1 in the match, the Lady Braves had one game left to win.  The fourth game ended with the Lady Braves on top 25-14. Allowing the Lady Braves to win the match 3-1 over Lake Highland.

The Lady Braves will travel to Edgewater on Sept. 15 to take on the Eagles at 7 p.m.
