After a rocky start, where the University Cougars (ranked 15th in the Sentinel Super 16) scored the first two touchdowns of the game, the boys bounced back in the second quarter with senior running back Darnell Burton scoring their first touchdown of the game.

Burton scored a second touchdown in the second quarter, tying the game 14-14.  Junior wide receiver  Alexis Bergen followed with a third touchdown at the beginning of the third quarter, making the score 21-14.

University scored another touchdown, tying the score, but senior wide receiver Adam Anderson pulled the Braves ahead with their fourth touchdown, and senior kicker Andrew Dawson scored the field-goal, making the score 31-21. 

Anderson made the last touchdown,  pushing the score to 38-29, giving the boys the win.

The team (1-2) will take on the the Apopka Blue Darters (2-1) at Apopka at 7:30 p.m.
