Step 9: Put the new sweater and optional hat on adorable pet and flaunt its cuteness.

Although winter is nearing an end, it is not too late to get a little sweater for a furry friend.  Puppies – or most small animals, for that matter – need extra help keeping nice and toasty.  Pet stores are always stocked with accessories and clothing, but they can be expensive.

A nice alternative is a sock sweater.  Inexpensive and simple to make, a sock sweater can be made in any dog’s – or their owner’s – style.

Supplies needed:

  • Sock (size depends on size of dog)
  • Scissors
  • Sharpie
