In the golf match against East River, sophomore Nicholas Bessire  opened the match with a birdie and sophomore Mason Toben and senior Christopher Johnson made par on hole 1,and  junior Charles Eakins made par.

On the hole 1, sophomore Aaron Hill took five strokes.

The match continued with Bessire making par on hole 5 and Johnson making par on hole 6. Senior Nicholas Duffy had a perfect drive on hole 7.

As the match came close to an end, the boys were on track to shoot a season low score with two holes to play. The team finished with Bessire shooting a 34, Eakins a 37, Johnson a 37, Toben a 39, Duffy a 40, and Hill a 49.

The team shot a combined 148 beating East River and setting a record low for the season, and finishing the regular season 8-4.

Boys golf district match is Oct. 13 at Rio Pinar.
