In a back and forth game against Colonial on Jan. 5, the Lady Braves basketball team lost to Colonial 50-54.

In the first quarter, Colonial started the game by scoring a two-pointer. Quickly after, Amanda Oliver scored a two-pointer, tying the score. The first quarter ended 9-21.

During the second quarter, Amanda Oliver and Angeni Worley shot two-pointers bringing the score to 14-28. Shayla Barrow added another two points by scoring a layup, making the score 16-30. The second quarter ended 22-30.

In the third quarter, Oliver, Worley and Emily Colvin all scored two pointers bringing the game to 30-34. The team then finished the third quarter with a tied game of 40-40.

At the beginning of the fourth quarter, the Lady Braves were falling behind, when Sadie Desroches scored a two-pointer bringing the score to 46-50.

The game ended with a loss, 50-54. Come out and support the Lady Braves at their next game on Jan. 11 against West Orange at home at 7:30 p.m.
