First Grade is starting off the new year getting to know each other and new routines for music class. We play a name game to learn who all these new friends are and dance a fun folk dance Sasha! We have to talk about rules and procedures and why they are important for safety and learning. We end our day with a quick turn at some of the instruments.

This second week we add Seven Jumps movement activity, sing the song “You Are My Sunshine” and play a poem on our beautiful classroom instruments.
