Tempo (including the following vocabulary: Allegro, Moderato, Andante)

Basic Rhythms – Quarter note, Quarter rest, single Eighth note, single Eighth rest, Half note, Half rest, Whole note, and Whole rest

Dynamics = the volume of the music

          Piano = soft                                        Forte = loud

Tempo = the speed of the music

          Andante = slow     Moderato = medium/walking pace     

Allegro = fast
