Fundamental Studies for Snare Drum
Percussionists will need a pair of drum sticks and bell/xylophone mallets. A stick bag is STRONGLY recommended. I like the Vic Firth SD1 general snare drum sticks and the Innovative Percussion F11 Bell/Xylo Mallets. Students may obtain these (as well as the Fundamental Studies snare drum book) through me.
Recommend Equipment
1. Wire Music stand for Home Practice.
2. Tuner*
3. Metronome*
*there are plenty of smart phone apps (free and pay) that can be used in place of an actual metronome and tuner.
Band Uniforms for Concerts
See the Band Handbook for the complete list of what each band will wear.
