Plural Nouns with -s and -es:
-A noun that names only one person, place, or thing is asingular noun. A noun that names more than one person, place, or thing is a plural noun.
-Add -s to most singular nouns to form the plural.
ex. The Egyptians played a ball game.
The Egyptians played ball games.
They ran from place to place.
They ran to different places.
-Add -es to singular nouns that end with -ch, -sh, -x, -ss
ex. The dish was dirty.
The dishes were dirty.
Her dress was blue.
She has many dresses.
