The sequence of events are the order in which things happen; when something happens.
The plot in a story is the sequence of events. Dates help readers figure out the sequence of events.
Target Strategy: Analyze/Evaluate ~ Readers should analyze the story events and evaluate which
are the four or five most important.
Fluency: Rate ~ Reading rate ~ Reading rate is the speed at which a person reads. A good reader does not read too slowly or too quickly. Reading in phrases can help at an understandable rate.
