President Project- A President Project Packet went home in your child’s TRIP binder today. We are so excited for this fall fun project! The president your child was assigned is written in blue at the top of their paper. Please review this with your child and encourage them to start thinking about their two resources they will use for their research. Projects are due Thursday, October 29th.
Shoe Drive – Wow! What an AMAZING turnout! Thank you so much for all the shoe donations. This was great bucket filling for many counties in need. Way to go Booth Bunch!!
Weekend Warrior – Cootie Catcher Game: Multiplication by 7’s. Students need to follow the directions page to cut and assemble the cootie catcher (coloring is optionalJ). Your child needs to play the game for at least 15 minutes over the weekend – please initial that they have played.
Math Fact Quizzes Start Next Week- Each Wednesday we will have a 2 minute fact quiz starting with the 2’s. When students earn a 100% they will earn a “piece of their ice-cream Sunday.” Later in the year, we will celebrate mastering our multiplication facts with actual yummy Ice Cream Sundays!
Please check out Math Magicians for continued fact practice: www.classbraingames.com/2010/02/math-magician-games-2 I can’t wait to see who will have a certificate to hang up next .
