Wow- what a fantastic first day of school! The kids were so eager to learn about their new classroom and blew me away with how quickly they are picking up all the new routines and procedures.

I have to give a huge thank you to three of our amazing parents who put together our KOALA Books so we could have a nice, organized start to the school year.  They are also busy sorting our math workbook pages at home, which is another big task. Thank you to Mrs. Brewer, Mrs. Kincade, and Mrs. Beerensson!

Your child brought home the first homework assignment of the year, which is a  self-portrait project that is not due until this Friday, August 22nd. I will post some example pictures on the blog tomorrow morning (Tuesday), so make sure you check back then.
