Just a heads-up, Sea World field trip permission slips will be going home this Monday. The trip will be Friday, January 13th. We will leave Bay Meadows around 9:15 and return around 2:45. We will be eating lunch at Sea World. Your child may bring a lunch from home packed in a disposable plastic bag (we will be throwing everything away) or purchase a bagged lunch from the cafeteria (regular lunch price). We are NOT allowed to bring coolers into the park, so please pack items that do not need to be refrigerated.
The cost of the admission and transportation for this educational adventure is $38. The tickets will be purchased in advance and are non-refundable. Sea World passes may be used to waive the cost of admission, but there will still be a $10 charge to cover the cost of transportation.
Each class will be bringing up to 10 chaperones, which will be selected through a lottery style drawing. If interested in chaperoning, please email me BEFORE paying. The cost for chaperones is also $38. All chaperones must ride the Escot charter bus to and from Sea World and be approved ADDitions volunteers.
Please sign the permission slip and return it in a labeled envelope by Friday, December 16th. We encourage you to use https://www.schoolpay.com for field trip payments. All monies for field trips need to be submitted 7 school days prior to the event, which is Wednesday, January 4th. No payments will be accepted after this date.
