Boone 5K Reservation Run on 2/16/13

Like to Run?!?!? Sign up for the 5th Annual Boone Reservation Run 5K and help the school and the Band raise money. For every entry, the Band receives half the registration fees. For example, if an adult competitive racer runs for the Band, the fee is $25 and the Band would get $12.50. There is a contest to see which organization can get the most participants. We truly think the band can win this portion of the contest. If we do, then the Band could win $1000!!!!

Attached is the registration form. Please fill it out accordingly. In the past we have made it where the money raised will go to students individual accounts to help raise for their Band fees. If the racer will place in the club/team line, “Band”- then put student name (ex: Club/Team 50% Designation (BOY/GIRL) : Band – Susie Quinn), that will help Mr. Jackson and Mr. Eslava know who to credit that racers’ money to. If you decide to do the paper form, please fill it out and send the forms to the band room so that Mr. Eslava can make a spreadsheet to ensure all the kids get the right credit.

If you prefer to pay online, here is the link to do so.

http://www.booneathletics.ocps.net/reservation-run-registration.asp

Please fill out the information accordingly, there is a registration page, then on the bottom there’s a submit entry then go to payments. Again in the Boys/Girls Club/Team box on the first page fill out the team box with “Band” – Susie Quinn (Student’s name). Please email Mr. Eslava your email confirmation which has Racers name and Band-Student name to Jose.Eslava@ocps.net so that he can add it to the spreadsheet in order to credit the right students.

If there is no student name next to the team name “Band” then the money will just go straight to the general band account.

We know the band can get tons of people to run!! It’s a wonderful event! Mr. Eslava has ran it the past 3 years making this year the 4th! Let’s get as many “Sound of the Braves” as possible to participate!!!!
