Once again the annual tech fair for all 10th and 11th grade students is coming on Tuesday November 19th 2013 2nd and 3rd periods in the Performing Arts Center at TCHS
Recruiters from Winter Park Tech, Avalon Tech, Mid Florida Tech, Westside Tech and Orlando Tech will be talking to students about technical education opportunities through the Dual Enrollment Program.
What is Dual Enrollment? Dual Enrollment is a program that allows 11th and 12th grade students to take courses at one of our Orange County Public Schools’ four tech centers. This arrangement enables students to continue with their academics studies at TCHS while taking technical courses at a tech center. While they are in a tech center, students will participate in specific industry-level training and may be required to take part in internships. Students may be eligible to earn credit, industry certification, Bright Futures Gold Seal Scholarship, Advanced Placement (AP) weighted credit, or articulated college credit
Interested students can get a pass to attend Tech Fair on 11/19 at our college and career center during lunches.
Teachers are also welcome to bring their 2nd period class.
