Timber Creek Student Government raised money for Children’s Miracle Network hospitals in central Florida. All of the proceeds went towards children who can’t afford their medical bills as well as their treatments and equipment. They want kids that are in serious conditions to enjoy life as normally as they can while also receiving the best treatment.
Along with raising money for Children’s Miracle Network , Timber Creek and East River hosted a mini dance marathon event on April 31st. It was a super fun and interactive event with prizes and games. Each dancer that is registered stood or danced the whole time to show respect for the Children’s Miracle Network kids. They got to see what it’s like to not be comfortable all the time while also helping them understand the kids’ conditions better and pushes them to work harder. Each dancer that registers is helped a kid somewhere live a better life in the hospital. All together Timber Creek and East River raised $26,279.66
