Dorothy Lane advanced to quarter finals in poetry interpretation at the Barkley Forum at Emory University this weekend. Dorothy earned a prestigious Emory Key, a most coveted award in the world of speech and debate. Dorothy’s poetry program is titled “Never Trust a Mirror” and weaves together several poems about body images. She’d be very happy to perform for any English or Reading class and to lead a discussion about the decisions she made to craft the program.
