AFJROTC comes together for bonding activities

Last week ROTC students participated in their annual field day. Field day occurs every year and allows everyone to relax and have fun. There are also many team bonding activities included. Students took part in activities all day and had a blast.

During the field day, five teams (Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta, and Echo) competed in a relay race. It was a very close race, but the Alpha team narrowly won. Many other competitions were held that day as well, and everyone was showing spirit. After the race, there were soccer games, football games, and even baseball.

Teams also participated in a water balloon toss, and a tug of war. Some students decided to have dance parties and celebrate that day. After all the sports, everyone took part in one final spirit celebration to end their fun-filled day. “Spirit day was a blast I really enjoyed it,” said sophomore Nabeel Basma.

Touchdown! Teams are competing in a flag football game during the day. Echo team won the match against all other teams and scored the most points. “My favorite part of the day was the football match,” said sophomore Carson Russell. Photo by Alyssa Candelario
