It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Well for Timber Creek goers at least. TC is known to have the most exciting Homecoming in all of Orange County. The Homecoming this year was based off on the most romantic place on earth….Midnight in Paris. Due to the fact of no school on Monday 10/15, we started off spirit week on Tuesday, 10/17 which was class color day. Each grade level was given a color to represent their class, Seniors: Pink, Juniors: Blue, Sophomores: Green, and Freshman: White.

SGA held lunch games all throughout the week. On Monday, students we able to join in on the game musical chairs. Later that evening Timber Creek had the Powder Puff Tournament at 5pm. Powder Puff is a game where all high school boys can dress up as cheerleaders, while cheering for the girls that played flag football.

Wednesday, 10/18 was French Movie Character Day. Students in all grade levels were dressed up as Mines, Ratatouille, and even characters from Madagascar. Students would be able to get wet’n wild while playing a game of water balloon toss with a friend at lunch. At 6 pm, Timber Creek would hold their annual Homecoming Parade that would pass all throughout Avalon. All court members, clubs, The Regiment, cheerleaders, and the football team were able to attend and participate in the parade while passing out candy for those cheering them on.

Thursday, 10/19 was Global Cultural Day where students were able to represent their personal culture and show their pride towards his/her country. All classes had the ability to vote for who they wanted for their homecoming king and queen during A and B lunch.

Finally, Friday, 10/20 came along. All students were advised to wear pink in honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  Pep rallies were held in the gym for all grade levels during 6th and 7th periods, where fun festivities and cheering would take place. Timber Creek’s Homecoming Game was played against Colonial at 7pm, where TC’s football took the win 35-19. Crowning this year’s homecoming King and Queen took place during half time. Congratulation’s to Jazzy Bonny and Nick Ruhl!  To end the week will all things good Timber Creek held their dance at the House of Blues where everyone could celebrate with friend and create new memories.

Students were dancing all night as the confetti was thrown and the dj played fist pumping music.
