Tickets will be sold at both A and B lunches in the cafeteria.

Only Seniors may purchase tickets from April 8th to 12th and only two tickets may be purchased per person.  Further ticket sales for juniors will be opened up at April 15th through 19th.  Tickets will not be sold after April 19th.

Important Information:

  • Only Juniors and Seniors may purchase tickets to Prom.
  • Students with a cumulative un-weighted grade point average less than 2.0 and/or who have had 2 or more level 3 referrals this school year and/or who have outstanding detentions and/or school financial obligations will not be allowed to purchase a ticket.  All of these things will be checked when you come to the ticket table.  You may check to see if you are eligible to purchase a ticket up to 2 days before you purchase your ticket.
  • All students MUST have the parent permission slip signed to purchase tickets even if you are 18.  In addition, guests who do not attend Timber Creek must have the appropriate guest form filled out in order for the Timber Creek Student to purchase a ticket.  There are two guest applications; one for students from other high schools and one for guests who are not in high school but may be in college or working.  Guest applications must be given to Mrs. Hemann for approval in room 120.  Your guest’s ticket must be purchased the same time that you purchase your own ticket.
  • Check in to prom will begin at 7:00 p.m.  Please try not to arrive earlier than that. Doors will open at 7:30 and a plated dinner will be served at 7:45.  Students arriving late to Prom will not be allowed into the ballroom after dinner has begun being served.  If you choose not to eat dinner at Prom please plan to arrive after 8:30.  The ticket price will be the same whether you choose to eat dinner at Prom or not.
  • A professional photographer will be available to take pictures beginning at 7 PM.  They will stop taking pictures from 7:45 – 8:30 so that attendees can enjoy dinner.  The price of these pictures is separate from the prom ticket price. Information about prices will be included in your invitation so you can bring the correct amount of money for the picture package you prefer.
  • Once a student has exited the ballroom area, there will be no re-entry.
  • All the rules outlined in the OCPS Student Code of Conduct apply, as this is a school function.
  • Seniors attending prom will nominate for Prom King and Queen when they purchase their tickets.  Only seniors may nominate and only seniors will be on the court.  Homecoming King and Queen are not eligible to become Prom King and Queen.  Prom Court will be announcedduring the announcements on April 22nd, and attendees will vote for Prom King and Queen at the prom.
  • We have asked the Hilton Orlando not to allow our students to stay at the hotel, so please don’t make a reservation to stay there unless your parent is staying there with you.
  • All students/guests attending Prom must show picture ID at check in to Prom
    Attire for this formal dance:
  • Ladies should wear formal gowns in good taste, without open midriff or slits past mid-thigh.  Low-cut gowns both front and back should be moderate and appropriate for a school function. Short dresses are discouraged for this formal event and must be no shorter than mid-thigh if worn.
  • Gentlemen should wear a tuxedo or at minimum a suit and tie.
  • If you have questions about your attire please get it approved by Mrs. Hemann in 120.  Students not dressed appropriately will be sent home without a refund for their ticket.
