Spring break is coming up which means more sunny days spent relaxing out by the pool, or epic family trips. Spring break starts on the 15th of March for Timber Creek and many students are already counting down the days. Sophomore Genevieve Vitiello shared how she can’t wait for spring break, “I’m going to New York to see my family and I’m so excited because my favorite thing is to go to the city because there is so much to do there and I can’t wait,” she said. Genevieve isn’t the only one who is eager for the break though.
Between tests and homework students are begging to have more than just the regular 2 day weekend. Junior Chelsea Mejia said that “I really need a break from school, I can’t wait to be in Miami beach with all my family and friends,” says Mejia. Mejia also explained that she has been a couple times before and everytime she goes she never wants to leave.
Though some of us might be going far for their break others are staying more local. A vacation close to home is sometimes the best. Some have a staycation others find going out and being adventurous more fun. Nevertheless, Jalien Davis, Sophomore, decided that his spring break was going to be close to home. “Me and my family are going to get away for a little bit and relax, I can’t wait to just get away from everything and be able to relax for a few days” said Davis. All of us cannot wait for the bell to ring on the 14th so we can all start our last break before summer.
