As Timber Creek gets into the 3rd quarter, the students have other things on their mind.  Many students are going on cruises this spring break! Sophomore Emmy Chinfatt tells us she’s going on a cruise with her family and is going to Jamaica to see family. Junior Carlos Valentin tells us this spring break he’ll be, “Sitting on the ninth deck cruising the seven seas.” I’m not sure you could cruise the seven seas in just a week but you could try. Even if you aren’t going on a cruise and you’re just staying home and hanging out with friends, there’s nothing wrong with that!

Staying home for spring break isn’t all that bad either. Sophomore Brooke Aliberti is making bank by dog sitting for $200! “I’m not doing much but I’m going to dog sit for my neighbors so I’m excited to get some cash.”  Staying home, being lazy, and getting a break from school work is what we need every now and then. Sophomore Matthew Castillo tells us that he’ll be spending most of his time working out and spending time with friends. I know that’s what I’ll be doing too!

Spring break is the time for high school students to go out, have fun, and enjoy the week off from school.  Whether you’re staying home, going out of the country, going on a road trip, whatever it may be, make it count! Have fun and do things you’ve always wanted to do. Cross those ideas off your bucket list. Step out of your comfort zone. Spring break is only a month away so get out there and have fun TC!
