Star Wars is a classic American film, which has a large quantity of books and other media. Star Wars started when its first movie appeared, A New Hope (1977). When viewed by college professors they have remarked that the Star Wars saga with it’s a struggle between good and evil democracy and empire can be considered a national epic for the United States. Star Wars is a movie title that you least know of or are a part of the fandom.
In 1978, with George Lucas being a millionaire, he began taking his screenplays for Episodes V and VI and turning them into films. In early 1978, Lucas began working on Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back. Star Wars was also retitled Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope. However, this time Lucas left the Director’s Guild, and Irvin Kershner was the new director leaving Lucas the new role of producer.
When beginning to start showing the movie that started in Norway. In, Norway suffered a very hard snowstorm, the worst one that they have had in years. Mark Hamill who played Luke Skywalker, was recovering from a bad car accident that he was in. Filmed in a scene in the snow while everyone else was in the hotel rooms.

Some students at TCHS are die-hard fans that have their opinions to show about the series, for example, Sophomore, Viviana Bittner. “I love the older movies because of Darth Vader even though his death was predictable. The older ones are predictable and the newer ones are not predictable and they always have a different outcome. They take what they think was going to happen and do the opposite or even better. The new characters in newest movies are are different genders and different race,” said Bittner. The Star Wars have come a long way but the fan will always stay for the end.
