Last Thursday Apr. 24, senior Traivon Smith qualified for States in the 800-meter event. He will compete in the State-level meet on Saturday May 3 in Jacksonville at the University of North Florida.
Aaron Carr finished third at the State competition for weightlifting on Saturday, Apr. 26. He was the strongest participant from Orange County with a bench press of 340lbs and a Clean/Jerk record of 320lbs. Adam Kanter placed 10th at the State weightlifting championship, hitting his personal best for the season in both the bench press event and the CLean/Jerk.
This week, both Flag Football and Boys Volleyball will compete in their District tournaments, both of whom seeded #1 in their tournaments.
