On October 6th at Sunrise Elementary School, Timber Creek’s Student Government Association (SGA), went to volunteer for the afternoon. They helped with the Fall Festival. They helped the kids and teachers after school and had activities for the children. Sophomore Emily Forsman worked at the hayride and watched the children to make sure they were being safe when walking around the trailer. “Volunteering was really fun and it was nice to provide extra help,” said Forsman.
Sophomore Michelle Leibman was also volunteering at the hayride. Leibman said it was nice to help out the neighboring school. “I would do it again. I enjoyed it and the experience was fun.” SGA just worked and helped out to volunteer for the Fall Festival and to work the events. This was the first event that freshman in SGA volunteered for and it was a good experience. Everyone that volunteered said it was a fun time and would definitely volunteer again!
