The Timber Creek Junior Varsity Girls soccer team defeats Boone High School, which continues them with their undefeated record. The Timber Creek girls JV team is 7-0, with no goals let up. This undefeated, talented and good hearted team is coached by one of our very own teachers at Timber Creek, Coach Monica Dibiase. As coach leads this team to the end of the season hoping to end it undefeated, last night on Thursday December 7th 2017 the girls beat Boone High School @Boone with a shut out of four nothing with starting XI as Grace Dutcher as keeper, center defenders as Lily Moore and Jillian Addy and right and left outside defenders as Sam Foster and Ximena Baute, center midfield as Ayda Varela & Lindsay Evans, outside midfielders as Madison Wise and Alessia Acosta, forwards as Lisa Kokemueller & Anaely Diaz with subs Cheyenne Chapman, Emily Brush and Veronica Kavanaght and one injured Alexis Gonzalez.

The girls started out and played the whole game tough and strong the first goal of the night was scored by outside midfielder Madison Wise in the 8th minute, as she dribbled past the center and right defender she taps past them, to meg Boone’s goalkeeper. The shot was beautiful or as Madison would say it was “A gift from God.” That was then followed by another beautiful goal by forward Anaely Diaz when she receives the ball from midfielder Ayda Varela, Anaely turns fights her way through the defensive line and shoots, yet another “Gift from God.” At water break the Timber creek girls were up 2-0. The second goal of the night was then followed by a second goal for Madison Wise with the great finish. Center Midfielder Lindsay Evans crosses it in with Lisa Kokemueller,Anaely Diaz and Alessia Acosta, the shot was first taken by midfielder Alessia Acosta but the keeper had a great save but wasn’t able to control it. The ball deflected off of her hands and Madison finished it, making that her second “Gift from God” that night. Could she go for the third?

Unfortunately not but their was one more goal before our night ended. In the 47th minute forward Veronica Kavanaght had a breakaway and was heading straight for goal, she shot it, had a very powerful but it wasn’t enough to go in. Just minutes later the final goal of our night was scored by midfielder Alessia Acosta assisted by Lindsay Evans. Lindsay played a good strong pass through a gap in the defense, lucky enough Alessia speed was able to get her to that ball. She took a touch or two and shot. Goal number 4.

The final score was 4-0 Timber Creek. At the end of the game, the ladies all joined for the after game talk, Couch Dibiase told the girls that they had played very well and that they all played with effort, that they proved they wanted to be a player and play. As the lady Wolves continue to finish their season and hopefully stay undefeated, we wish them the best of luck. Go Wolves!
