I’ve been teaching for twenty-four years.
What made you get into teaching?

What’s your favorite thing about Timber Creek?
The students are so hardworking and so committed to getting better that I feel grateful juts to be here. The parental support is amazing; parents are constantly pushing their kids in the right direction.
What are your goals for this year?
To do the best I can to gt through all the material that is required for students to learn by the state. Not only to get through it, but to give each student a personal experience, so that they all have a shot at calculus next year.
What college did you go to? What was your major?
I went to UCF, and my major was math education.
What’s your favorite part of teaching?
Working with all the great personalities of the students– I’m lucky to have all these great people in APC, it’s a great experience.
What are some of your favorite hobbies?
My first, most important hobby is taking care of my family. I enjoy getting to the gym as much as I can to exercise, and I enjoy watching my daughters participate in their own favorites hobbies.

I want the best for every student I teach, whatever that may be.

In 2004, I achieved national board certification, which took me a long while to accomplish.
What do you think of the digital learning system?
I think it’s been awesome; it’s been a great way to give the students new information, and I think it’s a great way to pass down information if utilized correctly.
