The guy-skirt connection has quickly spread through pop culture. The future is guys in skirts, and maybe it is time that the world jumped on the bandwagon.
The mixing of clothing norms may hold its own in modern fashion. Men in kilts is not completely unheard of, but the taboo has found its way into the minds of people today regardless. Kilts are often thought of as that thing all of the redheads wear in Scotland, but major celebrities like Ezra Miller have busted out the occasional flowing lady-garment. Not to mention the lady-wear takeover at 2019 London Fashion Week which gave plenty of inspiration to men around the world for their skirt styling.
Clearly, skirts have the potential to climb to the top of fashion. If guys begin to swarm into Forever 21 to buy the newest checkered skirt, the school may have a question on their hands: Is that guy’s skirt above his mid-thigh?
