Coach Joesph Anagnostis and the girls weightlifting team made an appearance at the Metro Weightlifting Meet last Friday, January 10. “We finished in second at the meet to Timber Creek by 8 points,” said Anagnostis. “We exceeded my expectations for us, I am usually not pleased with second but the girls did very well and we beat Colonial by three points.” Districts are being held on Thursday, January 23 at East River. The meet starts at 6:30 pm.
