Greek and Roman Constellations

This week we finished working with the Greek and Roman mythology by creating constellations for our ceiling. This involved student reports on different constellations that were connected to mythology. We then voted on which one the class wanted to have them represented for this year. This always takes a lot of negotiations between the class. Another useful skill in the real world. We also had a student create a power point, which lead to a lesson in how to create one given by Asher. I even learned a thing or two!

Next quarter we will be studying Geology, and work on one of our Project Lead The Way units The Changing Earth. So get out those rock collections to share.
