Kindness Breeds Kindness

Gifted Frameworks-Problem Solving, Questioning, Research, Leadership

This past week was Valentine’s Day, and we did a Kindness project- students had to write down 3-5  positive Sparkle words to describe their friends in my class. The hardest part  for them was they couldn’t use the word smart, and they had to be creative in their word choices. Check out what others said about your child.

We also graphed Valentine conversation hearts by colors all 3,357 of them! Learning can be fun too! We learned about how to group items, estimating, hypothesis on the numbers and colors before counting, importance of acute counting, how to create a graph for your class, and then create a graph with additional data from all the classes. A big THANKS to Mrs. Elwell for providing the 20 bags of hearts!!!
