This was an extremely busy week in the pond! We finished up our presentations on the planets and stars. We then created our own galaxies of love and kindness by melting crayon shavings in clear balls, and adding in some stars ( glitter) for added dimension. Students were amazed to learn how to use a grater, so next time you need help in the kitchen let them help you grate the cheese. We finished up the week with our Holiday party experimenting with what happens to candy canes in different solutions, and decorating cookies. Thank-you to Mrs. Elwell for getting our supplies and being an awesome room mom!
