To commemorate their senior night, the boys baseball team (12-9) took on the Winter Park Wildcats (18-7) on April 30.

At the top of the first inning, the Wildcats made three runs. At the bottom of the first, the Braves made two runs, the first run of the night made by senior Luis Marrero, ending the inning with a score of 2-3.

Going into the second inning, senior Evan Nursey started pitching. Not able to defend their home field from the Wildcats, the Wildcats then scored three runs. The Wildcats held the Braves back from making any other runs.

In the third inning, neither of the teams made any runs. However, in the fourth inning of the game, the Wildcats continued to put points on the board, making the overall score 9-2.

The Braves’ determination continued, resulting in a comeback. In the fifth inning of the game, the Braves were successfully able to make two runs and the Wildcats were also able to score one run.

In the final two innings, the game ended with the Braves making three runs. But, the Braves still lost 7-11.
