Service Hours- Reminders

Remember: Submitted service hours will be used to satisfy any probations/missing hours from previous quarters before they will be applied to the current quarter.

For example:

2nd Quarter: No hours submitted

3rd Quarter: 10 hours submitted

Therefore: 8 of the hours which were submitted for the 3rd quarter will be used to fulfill the missing hours from the previous quarter… leaving the member with only 2 hours for the 3rd quarter resulting in another probation.

In addition: There are no longer ‘rollover’ hours. No more than 8 hours per quarter will be documented (i.e.- if you submit 27 hours- assuming you don’t have any previous hours missing- only 8 will be counted)

3rd Quarter Service Hours

All 3rd quarter service hours are due this Friday 21st. Hours may be submitted in hard copy form to room 218, or digitally via “Submit Your Hours” located under the “Service” tab on this site. Digital submissions must be time stamped prior to 11:59pm.

Remember, if you were missing any hours from the 2nd quarter your hours submission this quarter will first go towards satisfying your probation, then they will be counted towards 3rd quarter. In other words, if you did not turn in 2nd quarter hours, you need to submit 16 hours this quarter.

Important Reminders

Hello all!! Just a few quick reminders.

1. Dues: Most of you have paid your dues; however, if you have not, please do so asap! www.schoolpay.com

2. T-shirts: -If you ordered and paid for a tshirt, please come pick it up (rm. 218).

-If you ordered a tshirt and have not paid- you will have until Monday 9th to pay for your shirt. www.schoolpay.com At that point, any shirts that have not been paid for will become available for other members to purchase.

3, Angel Tree: -All gifts are due to me by next Fri (13th), unwrapped, please don’t forget 🙁

*** I have approx. 8-10 cards left on the tree, if you need hours, or just want to help out these foster kids, come by and take a card… or three!!***

4. 2nd Q Hours: 2nd quarter service hours are due by Friday Jan. 17th- hard copy or digitally via the website.

“The museum is assisting this Saturday with a community event here on E Princeston St and they need 4 volunteers to help the museum reps from about 8:30am until about 1:30pm. Just a reminder for current NHS members: 1st quarter service hours are due to me by this Friday, 25th! A hard copy of the hours can be turned in to me in room 218, or a digital copy may be submitted through the Service Hours page of this site.
