Recent hurricanes have left massive destruction and devastation for families and cities around the country. The AVID program at Apopka High School wants to help families during the aftermath of these storms by hosting a Staff vs Student Basketball Game fundraiser. Come out on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 and watch the staff take on members of the boys’ and girls’ basketball teams.
The game will be played on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at 6:00pm in the Apopka High School Gymnasium. Entrance into the game is $3 and proceeds will be donated to the Salvation Army.
And you don’t want to miss the half time show!!! Come watch a teacher get pied in the face. During each lunch shift, students will have the opportunity to drop money in a bucket to vote for the teacher who they would like to see get pied during half time. The teacher that earns the most money will be the lucky winner.
