The robotics team did very well again over the weekend of January 20/21. Team 550C (Dylan Dana, Chris Papas, Max Anderson, and Aaron Hale) were tournament champions and Excellence Award winners as the top team.
Team 550Z (Tim Ervin and Bruce Hicks) continued their climb in World (yep, in the WORLD) with a score of 152 and winning the Robot Skills Award. That places them at 29th in the World out of over 4000 teams and tied for 3rd in the State. We have another event next weekend before hosting the final regular season event in the State prior to the State Championship on February 3rd in the AHS cafeteria.
We have 5 of our 7 teams qualified for the State Championship in Tampa February 19th.
