Children’s Story time

                                                                            Story Time: The Story

       Creative Writing students took the role of being the writers, writing children stories and then reading it to 15+ children that attended. Gabriela Marrero (11) says “The children had a great time, we read a lot of stories to them and they had lots of fun learning about the themes of the story”. It goes to show how much of a role model even high school students can be and how a little event can make a childs day! This event opened up the opportunity for a connection between these kids, it also allowed the high schoolers to have a second opportunity to host another event!
