As part of the 3rd grade curriculum, instruction will continue to develop musical concepts with an emphasis on ensemble playing and orchestral music. Key learning objectives include development of rhythmic concepts (whole note/rest, dotted note values), healthy singing using La-Sol-Mi-Re-Do, canon/round, crossover accompaniments, and identifying/playing rondo form.
